I am an artist based in Ayrshire, Scotland. I am influenced primarily by the surrounding scenery of the West Coast of Scotland, from the vast secluded seascapes to the more rugged rural landscapes. I am attracted to subjects for their atmospheric qualities and inspired by the work of The Scottish Colourists. I work in oils and I occasionally use acrylics, pastel, watercolour and pen/ink.
