Anne Hynd

Anne was born in Glasgow in 1945. She has had a long held interest in photography leading to commissions for portraits and weddings, in addition to building a portfolio of landscape photography. In 2010 she had a successful solo photography exhibition in Glasgow. This in turn has led to a re-emerging passion for painting, since relocating to the west coast 6 years ago.

Anne works mainly with oils, and is inspired by the dramatic effect of changing light on land and sea and the challenge of capturing the beauty, wildness and mystery of mountains, lochs and coastline.
